M-HOUSE is a special shop for Porsche owners who believe the "Early 911" model, which were manufactured between 1964 and 1973, is the most exciting and enjoyable car among a number of Porsche 911 models. Although over 30 years have already passed since the last Early 911 model was manufactured, M-HOUSE continues to pursue the original cars, especially factory originals without any works of restoration. In short, the "factory originals" are models with original shapes and features at the time of factory shipment. In fact, it is almost impossible to find such cars with zero mileage today because over 30 years have already passed since its last production. It is, however, possible to find full original cars with a mileage of 40-50 thousands Km, which have been well taken cared by one or few previous owners. Those cars seem as if they are only 4-5 years old. The mission of M-HOUSE is to find such cars, or find cars to be restored to such condition. From time to time, we receive queries such as if we carry out full restoration or if restored cars are not as good as non-restored original cars. Fully restored cars may look as good as brand-new cars or may be even better. These cars may make us feel like as if we have bought brand-new cars. Nonetheless, fully original cars definitely differ from fully restored cars. It is not easy to explain how full original cars differ from fully restored cars, but let's take a look at a car of which a door was replaced for some reason. If you have such experience, you may notice that the feeling, sound, etc. when the door is closed apparently differ from those before the door was replaced. Restoration involves such repairs or replacements affecting the entire car. The car will be slightly different in many respects after restoration. The most of owners should be able to notice such changes. For this reason, we recommend that a car should not be fully restored, especially if the restoration affects the body shell or frame. In general, owners remember unconsciously the sound, drive feel, touch, etc. of cars. They identify cars from such subtle differences and determine likes and dislike of cars. The fascination of old models is that we can feel the atmosphere and the spirit of the times when the cars were manufactured. The Early 911 models, which were manufactured from the middle of 1960s to the beginning of 1970s, have such fascination more than we can imagine. In order for you to feel the fascination of the Early 911 to its fullest, it must be fully original. Therefore, M-HOUSE sticks with factory original or fully original cars. It is easier said than done, but M-HOUSE continues to pursue the factory original or full original cars. Please look out for us.
